TROY, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh for a 7-6 walk-off win over Skidmore College, this afternoon at Robison Field. After falling in the game one, 9-7, the Engineers move to 25-13 (17-9 Liberty League), while the Thoroughbreds comclude the season with a 16-22 record (10-16 Liberty League).

Tim LeSuer singled through the left side of the infield to pull the hosts to within 6-3. Classmate
Shane Matthews then drew a bases loaded walk, before junior
Al Mersman brought home another run with on a fielder's choice to make it 6-5. Sophomore
Tyler Listing was then hit by a pitch to tie the game. Galluppi then ripped one through the left side, platting Matthews from third for the win.

Jared Jensen picked up the win (5-1), allowing six runs on nine hits over 7.0 innings. He struck out three and walked two. Freshman
Nick Annunziata went 2 for 4 with two runs scored.
Game one saw the Thoroughbreds score twice in the top of the first, but the Engineers answered with three runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning. A Skidmore error accounted for two of the three.
A four-run RPI bottom of the fifth broke a 3-3 tie as Matthews opened the scoring in the frame with a two-run triple into the gap in left center. Jensen then singled down the line in right to drive in the Engineers' seventh run.
Skidmore battled back to tie the game with a four-run inning of their own in the sixth. An error and wild pitch in the top of the ninth allowed two more Skidmore runs to score for the 9-7 victory.
