LAST TIME OUT• The Utica College field hockey team extended the nation's longest active winning streak to 13 games as the Pioneers defeated RPI, 3-0 at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium. Utica senior Hannah Mackey, the nation's leading scorer, advanced her scoring streak to 13 games as she netted two goals for the Pioneers.

Molly Zuk lead Rensselaer with three goals each this season, while junior transfer
Celia D'Agostino has recorded a team-best four assists, while
Hana Murphy has handed out three helpers.
• Senior goalkeeper
Hannah Clough returned to the field in RPI's game at St. John Fisher after missing the first four contests with an injury. Clough, an All-Liberty League selection as a junior, has made an impact since returning, recording a shutout, making 91 saves, and posting a 1.76 goals against average.
• RPI's team is composed of a majority of young players, with ten freshmen gracing the roster, along with five sophomores, five juniors, and four seniors. The Engineers went 8-9 last season with a 2-4 mark in Liberty League play, but finished the 2013 season with five wins in the last six games.

THE SPARTANS• The Spartans are 2-13 and lost four straight before defeating Colby-Sawyer, 2-1, in their last outing.
• The Spartans have now earned the No. 4 seed in the upcoming NAC Tournament and face top-seeded Husson on Saturday at a time to be determined in Bangor, Maine.
• Kristy Pinkham leads the team with 24 total points on 11 goals and two assists. Anna-Michelle Fabian is second with 11 points (5 goals, 1 assist), while Haley Spittle has contributed 10 points (2 goals, 6 assists).
• Senior Jess Galatioto has started all 15 games in the cage for Castleton. She has made 150 saves, posting a .647 save percentage and a 6.81 goals against average. Meeghan Doris has seen action in six contests, stopping 45 shots, with a .763 save percentage and a 4.29 GAA.
