Michael Souliotis finished in a fifth place tie to help the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) golf team to a seventh place finish in the Hershey Cup at Hershey Country Club. Souliotis shot a second day 78 to finish with a team-best 152.
Behind Souliotis for Rensselaer was sophomore
Craig Bokenfohr, who also carded a day two 78 for a 158 total. He tied for 24th overall. Freshman
Aaron Schauger was three strokes back and junior
Brandon Mader was one beyond Schauger.
The two-day Hershey Cup was won by McDaniel College, which shot a 300 on Monday for a total of 606. Alex Kane led the Green Terror, winning the individual medalist with a 73-70 - 143.
RPI travels to the NYU/Manhattanville Invitational in Purchase, N.Y., this weekend.
