ENGINEERS FALL AT VASSAR: The Brewers converted on a first half penalty kick and added two more goals, 10 minutes apart, in the second half to beat Rensselaer, 3-0, on Saturday in Poughkeepsie ... The win kept Vassar's playoff hopes alive, while eliminating the Engineers.
POST-SEASON IMPLICATIONS: While the Engineers may be on the outside of the playoff picture in the Liberty League, Skidmore is in need of a result in its final conference game ... The Thoroughbreds sit at 10 points, which is good for fourth, with Union (9 points) and Vassar (8 points) close behind.
