ENGINEERS FALL AT VASSAR: The Brewers converted on a first half penalty kick and added two more goals, 10 minutes apart, in the second half to beat Rensselaer, 3-0, on Saturday in Poughkeepsie ... The win kept Vassar's playoff hopes alive, while eliminating the Engineers.

POST-SEASON IMPLICATIONS: While the Engineers may be on the outside of the playoff picture in the Liberty League, Skidmore is in need of a result in its final conference game ... The Thoroughbreds sit at 10 points, which is good for fourth, with Union (9 points) and Vassar (8 points) close behind.

Sophomore Stephanie May (2 goals, 2 assists) has six ... All three have at least one game-winning goal to their credit.

IN GOAL: Sophomore Tori Riopelle has started all 18 games between the sticks and is 5-7-6 with a 1.32 goals against average and a .748 save percentage ... She has made 77 stops in 1774:58, with five shutouts.

SCOUTING THE THOROUGHBREDS: Losers of three straight games, Skidmore enters Tuesday's match with just one goal in their last four games, included a 0-0 draw with Vassar ... The Thoroughbreds are led offensively by junior Emily Saliterman, who has six goals for 12 points ... Three other players have single goals as Skidmore has just nine total on the year ... In goal, Dee Walsh is 5-7 with a 1.05 goals against average and an .824 save percentage, while sophomore Alyssa Rollins is 0-1-1 with a 1.21 goals against average and an .842 save percentage.

OCTOBER 29, 2014: RPI scored a goal in each half to beat Skidmore, 2-0, in Saratoga Springs ... Taylor Korytko tallied in the 15th minute, while Rachel Tietzen added an insurance goal in the 63rd.
