Greg Echeverria each threw complete games to lead Rensselaer to a doubleheader sweep of RIT on Friday afternoon ... After scoring a run in the first inning of game one, the Engineers needed a Jensen home run to tie the game at 2-2 in the sixth ... Senior
Nick Palmiero came through with a walk-off single, through a drawn-in infield, to edge the Tigers, 3-2 ... In game two, Echeverria gave up just one run in 7.0 innings ... Senior
Tim LeSuer finished 1 for 1 with a walk and two runs batted in, while Jensen was 3 for 3 with two runs and an RBI ... Phil Sammon went a combined 3 for 6 on the day with a run scored.
