ENGINEERS GO 2-3 IN FLORIDA
Rensselaer posted a 2-3 mark on its Spring Break trip to Florida last week, defeating Saint Mary's University in its opener, 10-6, before dropping consecutive games to Saint Vincent (8-6) and Saint Joseph's of Maine (12-3) ... The Engineers then beat Anna Maria (7-1), before closing out the week with a loss to Gwynedd Mercy (13-3).

Jake Defayette earned Liberty League performer of the Week after he hit a team-best .667 (8 for 12) in three games, collecting two doubles and six runs scored, with an .833 slugging percentage and a .692 on-base percentage ... Ryan Yerby was an Honor Roll selection, allowing just two hits (both singles) in 4.0 innings of a 7-1 victory over Anna Maria on Tuesday. He struck out five and did not walk a batter, surrendering a .143 opponent batting average.
COBLESKILL RECENTLY
The Fighting Tigers, who haven't played since March 24, are 1-3 on the season overall ... They defeated Penn State Brandywine, 11-0, before falling to the Nittany Lions, 6-4, in a doubleheader that day ... Brandywine swept a twin bill on March 23, taking the four-game set, three games to one.
