The Engineers begin conference play this weekend with a four-game series against Skidmore, beginning with a doubleheader on Sunday (12pm) ... Play resumes on Monday with a second twin bill (2pm).

ENGINEERS EARN WALK-OFF WIN
Sophomore Joseph Curci came through with a three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift RPI to a 7-4 victory over Elms College on Wednesday at Robison FIeld ... 

SERIES RECENTLY
RPI has 15 of the 17 meetings with Skidmore, dating back to May of 2013 ... Both of the Thoroughbreds victories have come in the last six contests.

2018 VS. SKIDMORE
The Engineers took the season series last year, 3-1, splitting a doubleheader on March 24, before taking a pair of close games (4-3 and 3-0) the following day ... All four contests were played at Robison Field.

SCOUTING THE T'BREDS
Skidmore wrapped up an eight-game Spring Break trip to Fort Myers, Fla., last week, with a doubleheader split against St. Joseph's (NY) ... The Thoroughbreds picked up wins over Haverford, Lakeland and Rockford as well, going 5-3. 

HONORED AGAIN
After earning Pitcher of the Week last week, sophomore Ryan Yerby was named to the Liberty League Honor Roll after tossing 5.2 innings of one-hit ball in a 7-0 win over Cobleskill last Wednesday ... He struck out four and walked four, taking a no-hitter into the sixth inning.

HOME COOKING
With Sunday contests moving to Robison Field, the Engineers will play its next six games at home ... RPI currently has 20 home games left in its schedule.
