The Engineers took the season series last year, 3-1, splitting a doubleheader on March 24, before taking a pair of close games (4-3 and 3-0) the following day ... All four contests were played at Robison Field.
SCOUTING THE T'BREDS
Skidmore wrapped up an eight-game Spring Break trip to Fort Myers, Fla., last week, with a doubleheader split against St. Joseph's (NY) ... The Thoroughbreds picked up wins over Haverford, Lakeland and Rockford as well, going 5-3.
HONORED AGAIN
After earning Pitcher of the Week last week, sophomore
Ryan Yerby was named to the Liberty League Honor Roll after tossing 5.2 innings of one-hit ball in a 7-0 win over Cobleskill last Wednesday ... He struck out four and walked four, taking a no-hitter into the sixth inning.
HOME COOKING
