Hudson Livesey
FIVE IN FOUR
RPI opens a stretch of five games in four days on Wednesday, when it hosts Eastern Connecticut State for a non-league game at Robison Field (4pm) ... The Engineers then welcome Liberty League and North Country rivals St. Lawrence to town for doubleheaders on Friday (1pm) and Saturday (12pm).

ENGINEERS FALL TO BROCKPORT
The Golden Eagles scored in each of the first seven innings in defeating RPI, 12-3, last Wednesday at Robison Field ... Two Engineers collected multiple hits, including Richard Drum (2-4, R, BB) and Joseph Curci (2-3, RBI) ... Griffin Kelley was the most effect pitcher on the day, allowing one run on one hit over 2.0 innings to close out the contest ... He struck out two and walked one.

VS. EASTERN CONNECTICUT STATE
RPI and Eastern Connecticut State last met in the 2008 NCAA Regionals, in Auburn, N.Y. – one of the wildest games in program history ... The Engineers rallied twice, then held off a 10th-inning threat to beat the Warriors, 14-13 ... Both teams had six-run innings and RPI scored three in the top of the 10th, only to allow two in the bottom half, before Andrew Novick came on to shut the door ... Ken Carroll went 2 for 4 with a home run and four RBI, while Dan Stroud was 3 for 6 with a run and an RBI.

SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
Eastern Connecticut State has lost 4 of 5 coming into the week, with a game against Western New England scheduled for Tuesday afternoon (4pm) ...

HOME SWEET HOME
The Engineers are 8-6 at home this year and have nine games remaining in Troy ... Their only road games remaining are a four-game set in Potdam against Clarkson on April 27 and 28 ... RPI went 11-8 last year at Robison Field and 9-6 in 2017.
