By the time she was a junior, Mary Beth Krupa was considered one of the best forwards in Rensselaer women’s basketball history. She graduated with the Rensselaer records for single season field goal percentage with .541 as a senior, as well as career field goal percentage with .504. She ranked third among Rensselaer’s all-time career rebounders with 841 for a 9.56 average over her four years and ranked fourth among Rensselaer’s all-time leading scorers with 1,142 career points for a 12.98 average. She owned two of the school’s highest single-season point totals with 397 points as a senior, good for third among the all-time single-season scoring leaders, and 348 points, good for eighth place.
