2016 MEETING: Megan Jones scored twice and Taylor Clink and Mikaela DiBello both tallied once as RPI defeated the Hawks, 4-2 ... Kaitlyn Gunter had both goals for the visitors, who got seven saves from Megan Gangeware ... The Engineers saw Rachel Kaufman stop six shots, while Lauren Hiltz and Mac Reininger both had defensive saves.

2017 MEETING: Samantha Ackerman and Justine O'Reilly both had two goals and Kaitlyn Gunter scored the other as New Paltz beat RPI, 5-1 ... Megan Gangwere made 15 saves for the win ... Rachel Kaufman stopped two shots and Kayla Bell had five saves on the other end ... Megan Jones scored Rensselaer's lone goal.

LAST TIME OUT: RPI played at Endicott on Saturday, falling to the Gulls, 7-2 ... Casey Collette and Mikaela DiBello scored for the Engineers ... Freshman Marissa Florio had 22 saves in 70 minutes.

FIRST CAREER START: Rensselaer goalkeeper Marissa Florio, a freshman, made her first career start on Saturday at Endicott ... Her collegiate debut came a game earlier when she played against nationally-ranked Hamilton.

BACK TO BACK: RPI seniors Casey Collette and Mikaela DiBello have scored in each of the past two games.

FIRST POINT: Freshman Jessie House, an attack, earned an assist in the game at Endicott on Saturday ... It was the first point of the freshman's career.

ROSTER BREAKDOWNS: Rensselaer has six freshmen, five sophomores, five juniors and five seniors on its roster ... New Paltz has three seniors, four juniors, five sophomores and 13 freshmen.
