What makes Rensselaer so special?
"Rensselaer is an exceptional place to foster intellectual curiosity and develop top-notch social skills in and out of the classroom. Being privileged enough to play for a Division 1 hockey team allowed me to compete at the highest level in the country and challenge myself to maximize my athletic ability, all while pursuing a prestigious degree and balancing a dynamic social life; properly preparing myself and others for the rigors of the real world." - April 2020
What are your post-graduation plans?
"In July I will be moving to Huntington Beach, California to work for Target as an Executive Human Resources Team Lead." - April 2020
From the coaching staff:
"Kendra was a regular in our lineup from day one. Her ability to play at both ends of the rink made her a key contributor and leader on our backend. What set her apart was her passion for the game of hockey. Coming from the non-traditional hockey market of Southern California, Kendra has worked hard to overcome many obstacles to play at the top level of our sport. When she broke her ankle mid-way through her senior year, there was never a doubt she would return ahead of schedule and be there for her teammates. I believe that speaks to her love for the game and love for her teammates. An immensely popular player on our team, Kendra represented our program's values of toughness and family. I will miss seeing her father, Brian, at our games at home and on the road – traveling all the way from California to support his daughter. Family is what our program is all about and Kendra was an amazing representative of that." - March 2020

"Kendra is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She brings so much heart in everything she does and truly cares about everyone on the team. On the ice she always worked hard and off the ice she made sure everyone was included. She has done great things for our program and culture. Ken - you will be very missed and never forgotten!" - April 2020
"Kendra was always truly looking out for me, along with all of her other teammates. She was an amazing friend and listener, and will do anything for those she cares about.
