BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed the past two days at the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships.
On the men's side,
Jack Czarnecki led the Engineers in the mile run, finishing seventh overall with a time of 4:15.91 to earn All-America honors. Czarnecki returned to the track later in the meet as a member of RPI's Distance Medley Relay, joining
Danny Gall,
Alexander Flynn, and Dominic Pena to place eighth in 9:57.15, securing another All-America performance for the Engineers in the relay event.
RPI also saw a strong performance from
Evan Lacey in the 3000 meters, where he finished sixth overall in 8:08.49, earning All-America recognition with his top-eight national finish.
The RPI women were equally impressive on the national stage.
Alice Brambati represented the Engineers in the long jump, finishing sixth with a mark of 5.66 meters to secure All-America honors.
Distance standout
Julianne Bleskoski competed in two events at the national championships. In the 3000 meters, she delivered an outstanding performance, finishing seventh in 9:36.28 to earn All-America honors.
Bleskoski also competed in the 5000 meters, placing 13th overall with a time of 17:08.10, demonstrating impressive endurance while competing against the nation's top distance runners.
